David Burke

Chef David Burke is truly an American treasure. He is among the most decorated culinary masters and is renowned as one of the most creative chefs in the world.

A graduate of the Culinary Arts Institute of America and a student of Ecole Lenôtre Pastry School in Plaisir, France, Chef Burke has collaborated with the most famous chefs in the world including Paul Bocuse, Pierre Troisgros, George Blanc, Marc Meneau, Daniel Boulud, Charlie Palmer and Waldy Malouf.

Chef Burke’s mastery of French culinary technique and his unique American creativity were confirmed at the young age of 26 when Chef Burke was awarded three stars as executive chef at New York’s famed River Café. Chef Burke was also selected by his peers to represent the USA at the International Culinary Competition and won France’s coveted Meilleurs Ouvriers de France Diplome d’Honneur. He is the only American to ever achieve this highest honor.

David Burke is one of the most recognized chefs on television having appeared on two seasons of Top Chef Masters, numerous appearances on the Today Show, Good Morning America and television news shows across America. He has published two cookbooks and scores of articles on culinary arts.
